As National Dong Hwa University plays a vital role in Eastern Taiwan\u2014cultivating talent, advancing academic research, enriching culture, and driving industrial progress\u2014it also bears the responsibility of serving society and contributing to national development.
This initiative aims to leverage information technology to drive local innovation, enhance community value, and foster regional transformation. To meet local needs and support talent development, the project will offer tailored courses aligned with regional priorities, creating a synergistic effect where implementation and education deliver impact greater than the sum of their parts\u2014fulfilling the university\u2019s commitment to social responsibility. Additionally, the project seeks to build digital cultural content for local sites and apply big data analytics to develop and execute smart marketing strategies, supporting regional revitalization.\nThese three strategic directions align with National Dong Hwa University\u2019s five mid- to long-term development goals:\n\nCreating a distinctive university environment and shaping a sustainable, multicultural campus\nAdvancing innovative research and strengthening teaching and learning systems\nEnhancing faculty development and establishing growth frameworks\nFocusing on student career development and deepening learning outcomes\nIntegrating natural and cultural resources to promote balanced development in Eastern Taiwan\n\nCorresponding UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) include:\n\nQuality Education\nDecent Work and Economic Growth\nIndustry, Innovation, and Infrastructure\nSustainable Cities and Communities
